Alright, after having deleted my original blog, "The Reformed Confederate," because I could not think of a purpose for its existence, I have decided that I need to create a blog that is unique enough to qualify as a Munuvian. So, I am back. I have missed blogging and want to get back into it.
I am a South Texas German by heritage. My great-grandfather immigrated from Prussia in 1861 and was mustered for duty with the 36th Texas Cavalry, and fought in the War Between the States. Actually, that war was anything but civil. There have been many civil wars throughout the history of the world, and they had one thing in common: opposing armies fought for control of the central government. In contrast, the South just wanted to secede from the Union.
Well, here we go again. I guess I am back in the saddle. Cheers.
